Hi folks,
I have a lenovo T410 with 5700MHD graphics running an encrypted install of Kubuntu 10.10. Everything worked hunky-dory straight out of the box with the minor but irritating exception of the thumbnail previews on desktop effects. If I hover over task manager on panel the little box pops up which should show me the preview of the window but it is blank. The "present windows" effect zooms out fine but then the windows go blank - the names and icons are still there but no preview.
Any ideas anyone? My first thought was maybe the graphics adapter isn't up to the job (my desktop kubuntu works great but has a much more powerful graphics adapter) but if it can render full HD surely it can perform simple scaling?
I've checked on "additional drivers" and none are found. The T410 is certified for ubuntu.
