I'm seeking suggestions for which version of Ubuntu should be installed on a Panasonic Toughbook CF-27 laptop with a Pentium II at 266MHz, 192MB RAM, and a 800x600 LCD?

It does not have a CD drive but it does have USB -- so whichever version is chosen, it has to be installable from a USB stick.

This laptop will have to be a triple boot computer--MS-DOS 6.22; Windows 98; and some flavor of Ubuntu. MS-DOS is required for a proprietary application; Windows 98 is required for two separate ham radio applications and a GPS application; and Ubuntu for some games (e.g., solitaire and chess) and light Internet usage (mainly Gmail).

Thank you for your suggestion(s) for this configuration.

Lubuntu would probably work best on that hardware.

This Remix (http://www.ubuntu-mini-remix.org/) is probably a good candidate -- let us know!

SliTaz and antiX are also possibilities for an old machine:
