instaling 10.10 - upgrade aborted

When downloading from he internet I get the following error in respect to the very last file with about 1 second to go...

The upgrade has aborted. Please check your Internet connection or installation media and try again. All files downloaded so far are kept.

Failed to fetch http://nz.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/d/defoma/psfontmgr_0.11.11ubuntu1_all.deb 403 Forbidden

Can anyone tell me what this means and how I get around it please?

The url you posted gives the 404 file not found error. Apparently something is wrong with that particular mirror at the moment. Either wait for a few hours, then try again, or try a different mirror.
You can select a different mirror (out of about 300) in the Software Center, Edit->Software Sources.
