hi , i get my cd yesterday and i have been installed it but i tryed to complie my modem driver and same apps i didnt find gcc!
its sayed gcc command not found :-#
i have been read same posts here and its sayed ubuntu have gcc!

The cd i get is: 4.10 for intel


anyway i tryed to complie a gcc but i cant its sayed cc not found :-|

is there away to complie gcc? i need it :neutral:

scoon i saw it before i ask for help the problem is i get gcc -v command not found

and maybe i need to download the gcc from internet and i get probblem with my internetcard when i tryed to install the ubunto so maybe i didnt get the gcc becoz i didnt connect to internet

anyway i need to get gcc work wich thinges i need to download it?

and gcc.rpm if i found this file could this work? :smile:

Try "apt-get install build-essentials", that should to. Maybe you need some addiotional dev-packages, but configure will probably prompt you for them.

Anyway thanks i solved it by myself :)

Now i know when i installed this linux i have to chose whats i need to install it :)


Now i have new problem! my modem ;)

if i cant fix it i will ask here :)
