For some reason (I think because I did gksudo nautilus a few weeks back) in all my apps the home directory always comes up as the default for any apps, be it when I open, save, or for uploading files- plus the dot files are displayed first, making it not a viable option to use. This didn't happen before, usually the previous directory was used, which I would like to happen again.
