I just updated Ubuntu 10.10 and now i cannot get into it. The Grub screen comes up, i select Ubuntu, a screen with a blinking underscore pops up for a few seconds then a screen that says "Ubuntu 10.10" with little squares under it comes up. That takes about 5 seconds to pass then the page with the blinking underscore comes up again and stays like that until i feel like turning off my laptop. What should i do? I really do not feel like losing my files and i am currently just using my windows partition.
