Hi folks,

Can anyone explain to me how I can auto block my Ubuntu system from upgrading to 10 from 9?

Thanks

I donīt know if that is smart thing to do,because 9.10 will be supported until April 2011.After that you will not get any updates. If you still want to do what you have in mind then go to Ubuntu software center>software repositories>updates tab> on the bottom you will see upgrade release and choose never.

Many thanks. I would happily upgrade but its taken me months to convince my wife to move from windows and we have just completed all our software transfer. When we moved up to 10 two weeks ago we were unable to get the WiFi configured at home, with 9.1 it comes out of the box...
Have the drivers improved for this?
I am using a HP Compaq nc6000 and a belkin wireless card

I can not answer your question, because I never used wireless.Try to search here (http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=336) and if you don't find answer start new thread there.
