How to recover Ubuntu 10.10 installation after reinstalling Windows 7

Recently I have reinstalled my Windows 7 and previously I have Ubuntu 10.10 installed. Can anyone plz tell me that how can I recover my old Ubuntu 10.10?

Hi and welcome to the forums :-)

Did you install Windows over the Ubuntu install? If yes, then it is gone.

If you just installed Windows back to where it was and left the Ubuntu partition alone, then you can reinstall GRUB to have the dual-boot option.

my Ubuntu partitions and files are still available. I have reinstalled windows over the windows installation drive.

Okay, so you need to reinstall GRUB using the LiveCD. See the link in my first post.
