Hi All:
I installed Ubuntu 10.10 on a clean partition, dual-booting with Windows 7, but after a reboot, Ubuntu was not listed as an OS option. I tried to add GRUB2 with the EBCD application but that didn't work. I got either a blank screen or a grub prompt.
I should point out that I had Ubuntu 10.04 on this laptop before but after a while, selecting Ubuntu at startup did nothing. I reformatted the drive and reinstalled 10.10 but got the situation as above. I know Ubuntu is installed because the partition shows about 8GB used.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
