Best way to print a large pdf page.

My wife is trying to print out a large pattern she made on inkscape. It needs to be full scale so that when she lays it out on fabric it will be the correct size. Any suggestions or programs that can split the whole thing up onto standard sized paper would be great. thanks in advance.
