The other day, I installed both Kubuntu and Xubuntu via the Synaptic Package Manger because I was curious about them, and wanted to try them out to see how they differed from Ubuntu, without having to make more partitions on my hard drive.
Today, when I went to restart my computer, I saw the loading page from Kubuntu, and then the login page from Xubuntu. When I try to log in to my account, the screen goes black and then sends me back to the login screen. Is there any way to fix it so I can go back to using Gnome, or any DE for that matter?
