Trying to install ubunntu on a Panasonic toughbook CF-27. It has a P! processor and 256Mb of memory. I get the message "This kernel requires the folowing features not present on the CPU cmov - unable to boot. Does anyone have an idea how I progress!!

If by "P!" you mean a first-generation Pentium processor, I suggest you try Puppy Linux instead of Ubuntu.
