Hello, I need to configure some option about auto mounting of portable device(usbpendrive, SD, etc.) but what configure file I have to modify?
gnome-volume-manager disappeared but what in place of it?

I have ubuntu 10.10.

palimpsest (from gdu = gnome-disk-manager) is the disk/partition manager smoothly interfaced with the usual lvm/mdadm/udev/cryptsetup/mount/eject utilities. However, I can't recall if you can set up automounts in here. Anyway, take a look you may be find what you're looking for
