Hello everyone.

I've been playing with UCK recently and am perfectly able to produce a remix with only apps I want installed and the main gnome menu customized as I wish.
What I'd like to know is a way to customize both the default livecd gnome appearance and the default after-install gnome appearance. I've had no luck with those so far.
Please help if possible :KS

Welcome to the forums.
I don't you can alter the Ubuntu cd , but you can create a custom ISO with this . http://www.geekconnection.org/remastersys/

Theoretically I can alter everything with UCK as it throws me into a chroot terminal. But still the question stays valid even if I were to use remastersys.
