wifi doesn't work

i've just switched from ubuntu to kubuntu because i like it better and on ubuntu, my wifi was working perfectly so i know it's not the card itself but when i signed into kubuntu, i set up my wifi and entered my wep key and it tries to connect to the router but it doesn't. the screen just comes back up that says "secrets for 2wire193" which asks me for the wep key again. does anybody know how to fix this? thanks in advance.

try this, delete your previous connections in "manage connections" and close all that.

now click network icon and click your 2wire ssid, it'll ask for your your wep key, don't mess with any other settings.
