Dear list members,
I have an old Inspiron 9200 whose hard drive just died and I want to use this opportunity to set up a computer with Linux. (I'm new to Linux). I'm going to install a new harddrive (without an operating system on it).
Can someone either give me the steps or direct me to the documentation on the best way to install Ubuntu on a computer with a new blank harddrive.
Also will the latest version of Ubuntu work on an Inspiron 9200 (Its at least 6 years old) or do I have to use an older version?
Thanks in advance,
Harry
