Hey everyone.

I just installed Ubuntu 10.4 on my daughters computer, I have it so it logs her automaticly without asking for a password, however a dialog, something to do with a key ring, asks for a password. Also when the computer is left alone for a while and goes into power save mode, it asks for a password again.

How do I stop it from asking for passwords in these two instances?

Thanks.

I know you can remove the password prompt on resuming from sleep/exiting screensaver by unchecking "lock screen when screensaver is active" in the Screensaver panel under Preferences. Not sure what the other one with the key ring is though; any further info on it would be helpful.

You can permanently unlock the keyring:

But keep in mind that this will leave all passwords and
network keys stored under that account unencrypted.
Not a major dealbreaker, just remember to throw out all of those
passwords if the machine is ever lost, stolen, or compromised.
