Hi,
I have just followed this guide to install Ubuntu over a LAN from another Ubuntu box:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/LocalNet

I got that the computer had started the Ubuntu installation process (asking for some setup stuff) when it stopped with an error screen saying something like (translated):

The automatic networksetup failed
Your network is probably not using the DHCP-protocol. Alternatively it is caused by that your DHCP-server is slow or some network equipment is possibly not working properly.

I think I am close to get it working. I use bootpd (is this the DHCP-server?), I am uncertain where the DHCP problem is and it looks like my router is using DCHP. I have a switch between my router and pc's.

Regards
