View Full Version : [ubuntu] Oracle 10g Compatibility

I'm trying to install Oracle 10g on a Ubuntu 10.10 version...failed because it wasn't a "redhat-3, SuSE-9, UnitedLinux-1.0...etc..."

Is Ubuntu not compatible with Oracle with any version of either??

Hi,

Ubuntu is supported only for Express edition of Oracle database

Thanks! I overlooked that before downloading the full version. Do you have it installed and if so, does it work well? What capabilities/functions does it lack compared to the full version?
