I am running ubuntu 10.10 64-bit on my desktop. It is the only operating system. I have two hard drives - 500GB and 1TB in size. I would like to use these as an LVM, which I think means that I would end up with one logical drive that is a little less than 1.5 TB in size.
I have not found clear instructions on how to do this. I am not the most technical user, so the instructions should be pretty basic.
If I can do it without reinstalling ubuntu, then that would be perfect, but I would be happy as well if I have to re-install it (everything is easy to back up and I have an alternate install disc). I tried installing off the alternate disc, but everything was a clear as mud, so it's not working.
Any, and all, help is very much appreciated!
Thanks,
