Hi all

Every time I log into my Ubuntu machine I have to enter my username (manually type it in)

as pete@domain-name.net then put in my password.

I can see local users are displayed on the welcome page, how can I add my domain user to the pick list, so I can just select it then tap in my password?

I don't know the actual solution, but this manual may help you:
http://library.gnome.org/admin/gdm/stable/configuration.html.en#daemonconfig

Greetings.

System-->Administration-->Login screen

Make sure that show list of users is checked.

Edit: sorry, didn't read your post thoroughly enough.

I wasn't sure if simply "Include" it will do it, since it's not a real user name. I wish, I had mentioned it!;-) Thanks for the feedback and mentioning me in your guide!:-)
