View Full Version : [ubuntu] Free Space Problem

Hi Everybody.



I have installed ubuntu on 4 gb pendrive. When i try to view free space using Gparted it shows free space 2.82 gb but when i click the root folder it shows the free space of 172.8 MB . I have attached the corresponding screenshots Please help.

Hi and welcome to the forums :-)

Go to Applications > Accessories > Terminal and run this command:


df -Th

Post the output back here please.

Not sure why the other thing showed what it did, but you appear to have enough space left on the pendrive.

Is there anything else you need to know?
