View Full Version : [ubuntu] Password nagging at wireless sign-in

January 26th, 2011, 11:02 PM
I'm having an issue with making a wireless connection. When I sign into a network I've used before, the sign-in icon will show, but after a while it asks again for the password. This loop continues indefinitely. The only workaround I've found is to delete the wireless keyring every time I turn off the computer, but that's really impractical over time.
Does anyone know how I can fix this?

EDIT: When I delete the keyring with seahorse and then restart, the network connector doesn't ask for a new keyring when I sign in. I assume this means the keyring isn't really being deleted...

Select the wireless connection and check the make available for everyone checkbox (or something) from network manager.

I checked the "available to all users" box but then I couldn't sign in at all.
