I have a headless server setup in a closet for file/media sharing and various other purposes. There are some GUI tools that i would like to be able to use without them relying on another machine's display (using X forwarding). I have Xvfb installed and I am able to get it running and connect to it via vino, but all i see is a black screen with a mouse cursor.
Ultimately i would like to be able to run GDM inside this virtual display (or cause gdm to create it's own virtual display). Server is running maverick with mostly default configs.
