The DVD disk is from LinuxFormatMagazine, and PCLOS is the ISO that boots.

It has 10.10 on it also, but that isn't the ISO that loads by default.

Do I have to transfer the 10.10 file, and burn it to a new ISO? Or can I run or install it from its' current file type on the DVD?

When it boots up, you get a menu of which OS you want. Pick Ubuntu.

Hi psusi...

It loads PCLOS, without any sort of GRUBloader.

Thanks tho'.

I wonder if they are using the boot catalog method instead of a grub/syslinux menu? If so then your bios is supposed to let you choose, but some bios are buggy and just boot the first one.

So some BIOS are capable of allowing a choice before loading any of multiple images on a optical drive???

I'll see what I can find here; thanks...
