I am currently using Ubuntu and would like to write iPad and Android apps.

What are my dev tools options?
Any pros and experienced folks around?

Thanks in advance.

The Apple SDK for iPad and iPhone runs on a Mac computer ONLY. Any other way (hackintosh, etc.) is unsupported.

The Android SDK for linux is available here:

I had a few attempts into Android programming but since I have no android, it was useless. I want an Android, tablet or not.

About time someone came up with a free way to develop for iOS on Linux; even though it would only be for jailbroken iphones etc, I would still love to have a go - I own a jailbroken iPhone and would love nothing more than being able to write simple apps for it, even if it were just to say I knew how.

Any ideas for JB iPhones?
