Ubuntu to Ubuntu Server install

Hey all,

I currently have Ubuntu (newest version) partitioned on my hard drive. I want to set up a dedicated web server. Do I need Ubuntu server edition to do this? If so, how do I do this since I already have the personal Ubuntu version installed on my desktop.

Not sure in which thread to reply, there are three. Anyway, can you elaborate a bit on what you want the server for. Usually, running a server implies having a dedicated machine for it.

Just to use it for a personal project. Make a dedicated web server for PHP / Apache.
