Hi,
just installed xubuntu, all seems fine. But couldn't find a way to add a lang layout!
On the settings->keyboard->layout there's just us layout and no button like add or something.
Can some1 plz help with this, also I assume switching layouts is also not so intuitive, plz add help on that as well :)

It seems that the option to add/switch to another keyboard layout isn't included in the XFCE desktop by default. Try this app: xfce4-xkb-plugin, to install it via command line:

sudo apt-get install xfce4-xkb-plugin

Found, you can add a layout in the Input language panel applet. In the applet properties you can select the switch options as well.
Couldn't find the proper Russian layout there, although ubuntu has it. Had to pick the closest.
I'll try the xfce4-xkb-plugin thing later, thanks!
