Hi Experts;
How can I remove the list of versions of Ubuntu showing at the system Start Up?. Because I have windows XP, Windows 7 and Ubuntu in my System. Every time when i login to Ubuntu i have to use the arrow key to select the operating system. Any help is appreciated.

Have a look below at the new GUI for changing grub, but take care, you are altering your main booting process

Or you could uninstall the older kernel versions using Synaptic Package Manager.

I manage old kernels with Ubuntu Tweak, which is also useful for removing old apt caches. Both can free up significant amounts of space (significant if you are running off a small device, 8gb-32gb).

I generally keep the current kernel +1. When a new kernel is released, I wait a few days before removing the oldest kernel.
