how to show icon in menu bar?

i install ubuntu studio 10.10 64 bit but i want to know how to
show icon of document , download , at places in menu bar?

Open the folder you want to have in the "Places" menu, then choose "Bookmarks" at the menu bar and click at "Add Bookmark".

i make new folder and put it to panel or use book mark it ok.
