Error while trying to boot Ubuntu after installing desktop edition

Hi - so I downloaded and installed the Ubuntu desktop edition and when I boot up I have the options to boot either Windows 7, or Ubuntu (so far so good), however, when I select Ubuntu I get a message saying that the following file is corrupt:

File: \ubuntu\winboot\wubildr.mbr

status: 0xc000000f

Info: The selected entry could not be loaded because the application is missing or corrupt.

Any thoughts on this? Would just re-installing it fix the problem?

Tried the reinstall...still got the same error. I might try re-downloading it.
