I have downloaded the Ubuntu 10.10 desktop iso, used Universal-USB-Installer (http://www.pendrivelinux.com/downloads/Universal-USB-Installer/Universal-USB-Installer.exe) followed all the instructions, and it confirmed the USB boot was created.
Restarted Win-XP (SP3), Selected boot menu, and chose USB. No Avail.
Every time I tried this the desktop eventually started XP.
I have now resorted to removing the power from my two hard drives as I thought I was choosing a wrong option.
resultant error is:
"Searching for boot record from scsi ..not found
Boot Failure"
Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
