Hi,

I'm trying to install Ubuntu 10.04 on a server (DIY, not a name brand one), and the installation hangs at 78%. Tried reformatting the hard drive, installing from the live CD, going directly into the install mode, etc., and it still hangs.

The server has a MegaRAID SATA 150-4D RAID1 controller with two 250GB hard drives. It shows up as one hard drive, so I suppose that means the hardware RAID1 is working.

Any ideas on how to make it work? Is it an issue with the RAID1 itself? I've installed Ubuntu with the same disc several times, and it worked fine. Should I try installing it with a USB flash drive too?

Any help at all is appreciated. Thanks.

EDIT: Problem solved. It was a NIC issue.
