Just installed Meerkat.
I click System -> About Ubuntu and get this:
You are using Ubuntu 11.04 - the Natty Narwhal - released in April 2011 and supported until October 2012.
I'll send some lotto numbers back for the rest of ya.

A known issue and bug reported. Are you having other problems? I would seriously consider 10.04 LTS at this point.

So far so good. 10.04 wouldn't work on this machine, so I had to wind back to Karmic.

Hmm, not sure but think that's out of support or will be very soon. What is happening with 10.04 LTS?
9.10 support til April, 9.04/8.10 support ended. Can't remember which number Karmic Koala was.

Oh, I had a series of problems, even after reinstalling from scratch around 5 times. The desktop themes wouldn't stick, and gnome would revert to it's native, theme-less form. Had a couple other issues too.
I managed to get Karmic to work with the Ambiance theme from 10.04, and it was quite stable up until this weekend, when my / partition showed 99% full.
It was a good time to upgrade. :)
