View Full Version : [ubuntu] Ubuntu 10.10 Fax server. what app?

Hi all, I have a laptop that has Ubuntu 10.10 installed on, this laptop is have a FAX modem (56k if any one remmebers). And as I have an analog FAX line I would like to use it to receive faxs on my linux box. So what app can do this?

If your modem is a Conexant one, you may be in luck.

for me there are 2 choices

efax or hylafax

hylafax seems like the better option and it is more up to date

it also works with xane scan software
