Classmate Installation Problem

Okay, here is the problem. I have a Classmate from 2go PC. I successfully installed Ubuntu 10.04 on it (from a USB drive) but I never could get the WIFI to work. I never could get Ubuntu 10.10 installed because it would never boot from the USB. I have attempted today to install a beta of Ubuntu 11.04 and the system works just fine while running from the USB drive but once it is installed I get no video. I think the OS is up and working. Any suggestions?

Okay. This is curious. I can not install 9.10 or 10.04 on the Classmate. I can run 10.10 from the thumbdive perfectly and install it. However, once I boot to the installed OS I only get a blank screen. I tried dropping to the command prompt by pressing ctrl+alt+f2 but I still didn't see anything.

I really need some fresh ideas.
