Hi everyone.
I download Ubuntu to my Windows 7 laptop via Wubi. It downloaded perfectly fine, I selected the recommended options and then restarted my laptop. I then selected Ubuntu from the list of operating systems to use. It went to a black screen with white letters for a few seconds (with a countdown timer), then it went to a another black screen with white lettering and just stayed there. The second black and white lettering screen appeared to be saying something about kernel, external device and child.
I have no idea on how to fix it. I don't know how to program or anything.
What should I do? How do I fix this?
I am really close to giving up on Linux, but I really want to test it out.
