View Full Version : [gnome] Double Click Title Bar to Close

I'm using gnome, and I recently found an application that adds windows buttons to the gnome-panel. So, to keep everything relatively simple, I've removed the windows buttons from regular windows' titlebars using gconf-editor.

My question, is there anyway to close a window by double clicking the titlebar? I would like this functionality because it would make floating windows more manageable, and would look better than having an unnecessary close button in the gnome-panel for the active window if it's floating.

I've looked at the Windows feature (System->Preferences->Windows, I believe) to see if this was available there, but all the options for double clicking are minimize, maximize and other things that do not close the window.

Any help would be very appreciated, I've no idea what options are now, honestly.
