View Full Version : Install 10.04 desktop amd64 on DELL T3500 hangs

I'm trying to install Ubuntu 10.04 desktop amd64 from the CD on a DELL Latitude T3500

When I select Install or Live use, the system shows the red and white dots and the hard disk LED is almost always on, but nothing happens even after a long time.

On a T3400, the CD runs fine.

Does somebody knows how to install Ubuntu 10.04 desktop amd64on a T3500 ?

What graphics card do you have in your machine, and how much ram, please.

Don't worry anymore....

Found that on the CD, filesystem.squashfs was wrong (I/O error when trying md5sum of this file from CD)
