Using the SYSTEM/ADMIN/Startup Disk Creator in Maverick Meerkat 10.10, at the end of the install I get an Installation Failer error: "An uncaught exception was raised: [Errno] Input/output error".

How can I get by this to make a bootable USB stick to use as a startup for future GRUB 2 problems?

I did a forum search for this error, but could not find one close to it.

Ive read up on this seems like another person had the same problem and found out it was his ISO image was the problem. Try download a different image and see.

Tried a different download of 10.10 from a different site, and the Startup Disk Creator worked as advertised.

Thank for the suggestions and help.
