Not on IRC as far as I know. It's text only, it doesn't even handle images (unless you count ascii art.)

Have you tried "Second Life" (http://secondlife.com/) I've not used it much but I believe it hosts serious topics and it's possible to use a mike. I'm not sure how secure it is tho.

I tried second life, it is indeed possible. but man that's not the purpose, realyl, the best if an irc vocal interface, as well known as SKYPE.


pitty that skype havent yet released a voip chat room like irc, that would be gorgeous.

sounds quality of skype is excellent. the one of ekiga sucks
