on my ubuntu box, 10.10. I can not configure host as localhost, got error 2002 "Cannot log in to the MySQL server", however it's ok to set host as 127.0.0.1.
I did comment out the line "::1 localhsot..." in /etc/hosts, but there's nothing new.
Any suggestion?
