I just installed the latest nvidia driver (260.19.29) and installed fine from ctrl-alt-f1 but now when i boot into desktop there is no desktop effects. I can move the mouse around but no taskbar or preferences to anything. Any ideas?
oh, and I cant do apt-get or anything since I cant connect to any kind of AP, so is there any wayof editing the xorg.conf?
