Hi guys. I am a newbie to Ubuntu Linux. Previously my laptop was running Windows 7. Today i did a clean install replacing it with Ubuntu. Everything seems to work fine except my dvd drive. None of the dvd's which i burnt previously on windows 7 works. I cannot see even the contents of the disc. there are no problems with original factory installation discs. I can't play even movie discs. I installed Ubuntu restricted extras , libdvdcss too. But it doesn't seem to even read the disc. Pls help.
