I really hope this isn't a stupid question...

I was wondering. Is it necessary to download the entire cd/dvd .iso if one has separate /home and / partitions? Is there a way of downloading just the new / files? Would that be any faster? Or, is the amount of "stuff" downloaded for the creation of a /home partition so small as to be pointless?

I am planning to upgrade one of my installations to Natty, and wondered if I could save any time by downloading only what has been changed from Meerkat. Kind of like rsync does for backups? I see zsync listed among the choices on the daily build page. Is that what I need to look into?

Cheers!
