Is it possible to change keyboard language with lubuntu.

Ive installed lubuntu 10.10 on a usb stick but I cant change the keyboard language using preferences (language or keyboard).

The closest I get is the language preference which shows a combo box next to the work \keyboard input method/ but this box is not selectable.

Well... I installed ubuntu instead (this supports switching international keyboard layouts) and it works really fast from my old usb stick so I don't need lubuntu after all.
Added bonus... firefox browser in ubuntu so all my addons can be reused.

Thanks - seems to contradict Ubuntu's 2nd principle that you have to download an extra package to support international settings (very best in .. accessibility. )

Anyway - thanks to Ubuntu's support of firefox I'm back on Ubuntu.
