Now that the touchscreen computer with wifi is no longer a huge expence. What is the chance that we see ubuntu OSes riding front and center in a car near you?

Imagine GPS and MP3 player on Steroids. How does downloading a new voice theme for your gps? Or listening to your FLAC music collection with scrolling lyrics? Yea kinda safety hazard. But what about making out to a desktop fire... awwwww... so romantic. But not while driving that would be really dangerous.

Anyways...

If it could be done well, what are the chances car stereo companies start selling a touch screen stereo with an Ubuntu OS pre-installed?

Well I hope I have got your noggen joggen. This could be awesome. I could see my self buying a Mr. T Voice theme from the Ubuntu Software Center for my GPS. "You missed your exit foo!"
