At present I have 1 server with Ubuntu and its fine. But I was wondering what cloud services can do compared to the cluster approach.

Thanks, I think I will continue with the way I do things now.

I have a bunch of domains hosted on the Linux box now, works fine.

I have been thinking of a storage server to act as a backup target. One of the 16 disk rack mounted chassis would make a nice backup device.
