Hello everyone,
After putting in my Ubuntu 10.10 Desktop 64Bit disc,
I boot into the disc and I select install ubuntu(also tried the try ubuntu same effect)
After that the screen goes dark and begins loading. It says Ubuntu with the red dots that change from red to white. Then all the dots go red. Then the screen shows a bunch of weird lines like streaks. And I can see my the last windows 7 os I had open even though its off the partition. I assume this is a error with the drivers. I have had Ubuntu before on it. But the new 10.10 does this error. I have tried using the alternate disc and it installed but then when i booted it up the same thing happened. Does anyone know if theres a way to install ubuntu with the right driver?

My system has a core 2 duo with 4 gigs of ram and plenty of empty hard drive space. I am using a Nvidia 240 Graphics card.

Thanks,
