:confused: I need help for installing NVIDIA propietary drivers on UBUNTU 10.04. I already did the tutorial in the ubuntu webpage but after rebooting my pc show error. Maybe the problem is with the xorg file,Can someon ehelp me to configure the xorg file.

Try with these drivers, first check if your video card is supported

Never, ever get drivers from a souce like that when its easy to get the drivers from nvidia. You have no idea what could be wrong with drivers from unoffical sources.

Ohhh, and the GF2-ultra isnt supported by those drivers as well.

Which tutorial on which webpage? If you give as a link that would help figure otu what is wrong.

I'm guessign that you've got the older 96.x drivers, they dont support xorg 1.8/1.9.
